Cordelia is a UK based set and costume designer. She studied English Literature at Cambridge University before training on the Motley Theatre Design Course (2002). Opera designs include: Carmen (Scottish Opera), Hansel and Gretel (Opera North), Phaedra, Ariadne auf Naxos and Cosi fan Tutte (RSAMD), Alessandro (RCM), Werther (Les Azuriales Opera Festival), Lucia di Lammermoor (Clonter Opera), Rigoletto and Falstaff (Diva Opera), Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci, The Pearl Fishers, Turandot, Herodiade and Nabucco (Dorset Opera), Marriage of Figaro and Peter Grimes (Surrey Opera), Tales of Hoffmann (Guildford Opera).
Theatre designs include: Kurt and Sid (Trafalgar Studios), Shadow Language (Theatre 503), Touched (RADA), The Dubya Trilogy: The Madness of George Dubya, A Weapon's Inspector Calls, and Guantanamo Baywatch (New Players Theatre), 100º Fahrenheit (Southwark Playhouse), Hamelyn Heights (Young Vic Studio), Incarcerator (Old Red Lion), The Winter's Tale (Creation Theatre Company), An Axe for the Frozen Sea (Bedlam Theatre Company), Dateless Wonder (Arts Depot and tour) Masks and Faces (Finborough).
Costume designs include: Orlando and La Scala di Seta (Independent Opera at Sadlers Wells), Taboos and Talk About the Passion (New End Theatre), Twelfth Night (Creation Theatre Company), The Wedding (Southwark Playhouse and tour).
Cordelia is currently designing La Finta Giardiniera at the Norwegian National Opera House for the National Academy of the Arts, Oslo.
